I got back about fifteen minutes ago from a brief trip out of the house to lend some money; after the lending, I went to the Shell gas station and picked up chips, a 2 litre Diet Pepsi, a 591 ml Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus, and a couple of chocolate bars. I'd already been to Subway, and have just finished a 6" steak and cheese sub along with the Lipton Green Tea drink, which turned out to be quite tasty; it's not a flavor I'd ever had before.
Now it's back to MM. (Interesting related encounter... when I was paying for my purchases at Shell, the clerk remarked on all the munchies, and I told him that I'm a freelance artist running to a deadline, hence the snackage. It turns out that he's a comic fan from way back. Go figure.)
Wish me luck. The pages are turning out to be more complex than I'd anticipated. Any energy/good thoughts that can be sent my way would be appreciated.

Yep, that cart -- one cart -- was $365. Mind you, there were quite a few small expensive items in there (meat and medication, mostly) and there are some products that we prefer brand names on as opposed to generics. We're very happy with our haul, even though we know that we could have gotten the whole thing cheaper if we'd cut some corners.

And you can take your time paying me back. I think I can spare the money for at least a couple of months. :-)
