Wonderful -- yesterday's clean-up of the bedroom dislodged dust from boxes in the closet, which in turn has brought on a bad attack of asthma. I felt like I was slowly suffocating last night, and didn't get much sleep at all. And there's only MORE dust to come!

I'm going to try to pack up my altar and ritual equipment today. Eastpath, in answer to your question about having friends over to help with the move... thanks for the offer, I'll try to figure out a way that help could be rendered! A lot of what we're doing right now is sorting through business and personal paperwork to weed out what we're not taking, which is something only we can do. After that, boxing stuff up shouldn't take TOO long... *crosses fingers*

Aislingfae, I might take you up on your offer of a car to move stuff. We have a lot of books we won't be taking with us, and I'd rather they go to the Health Sciences Center booksale. I'll find out if/where there's a dropoff depot... if you could help us haul a few boxes there, that would be wonderful.

Missing Micawber terribly. Trying to come to terms with the riddle of existence versus non-existence, of whether they are simply aspects of a single reality ("what happens to the fist when you open your hand? the fist is gone; the hand remains").

Off to do laundry...

hi there,
Sorry to hear about the asthma attack..I have asthma too and it can be just awful.
I would be happy to help. This week is a little hairy for me as i have a major paper due on Thursday, and next week starting Thursday is Easter weekend, but i definately could help you any other time. Email me (nygirl@mts.net) or give me a call (i gave you my number in a private email, but let me know if you need it again)and we'll work out a time..
What kind of books are you looking to get off your hands? I am a voracious reader so may be able to help
Blessings,
Jill

Hey ya doll, I don't have a live journal user name so I'm doing it this way and hoping you get it! If your getting rid of books maybe give Betty a call, I know she would love more and has lots of time and a car to pick them up and I'm sure she would donate the rest. I just read the journal now and I cried too. You're right in letting him go before he has to suffer. A friend had her cat on enemas every three or four days and other treatments. 40 dollars a pop. Her cat was in great discomfort and she will always remeber the pain instead of celebrating the joy that her cat was and all that her cat has tought her. Micawber was telling you it ws time. But as a side note if your cat has trouble with not eating you can mix in Chicken broth (baby food)and the cat will eat it is how betty got smokie eating when she has the kidney stone. For some reason they'll eat that if they eat nothing else. Light and Love Heather
