Aislingfae: please accept my sincerest condolences on the death of your grandmother. As noted, Livejournal doesn't seem to want me to reply to messages directly (it keeps coming up with an error message and loads only a few lines of any given entry when I try), so I hope you'll excuse my offering them here.
Eastpath: You ARE a good person -- everybody has bad days. Forgive yourself. :-) If it's an issue with your employers, you can work on it in productive ways. Just because they've pointed out something that concerns them (from their ow POV) doesn't universally condemn YOU as being a bad person.
