Yesterday:
Shopping at Safeway, stocking up from an almost bare pantry for three people instead of two: $257. 58
Shopping at M&M Meats, again for three people instead of two: $101.19
Bus tickets, keeping in mind Reg's requirements: $40
Today:
A new magenta ink tank for the printer: $21.48
LIbrary fines (at least they go to a good cause): $19.47
Shopping at Pharmaplus, including a prescription and some presents for the baby shower that's being held simultaneously with the Easter dinner out in Selkirk: $66.30
A phone call to MTS because once again a bill has been returned to them with "Moved" written on it, prorated to my commercial art fee: approx. $35
The fact that the phone call led to the customer service rep checking our cellular account and finding out that we had NOT been getting the bundled rate on our cellular account, which led to a credit of: $40 (actually -$40 for the purposes of this list, but that's neither here nor there...)
Another phone call to the post office because MTS has no living idea what the problem is, since our address with them IS accurate, again prorated: approx. $25
A not-quite-argument with George about him speaking to Reg about giving us some monetary compensation for putting him up... no actual cost, but a lot of hair-tearing on my part
In the last half hour:
A supremely hot bath and a Diazepam tablet, and time to savor both... absolutely priceless
There's an M&M Meat Shops Deep Dish Chicken Pie in the oven, and although I'm far from feeling good, I feel a bit better than I have all day.

Like i said, the longer Reg stays, the more he will be motivated to stay on the sofa and not look for alternative arrangements,. you guys have to let him know you're not his safety net. I'm sure once George realizes the impact this is having on you, he'll send him packing.
