The black dogs

Today the black dogs of depression finally caught up with me fully. I slept through a meeting I was planning to attend this afternoon and haven't been able to pull myself out of the jaws of the pack, even for a few minutes at at time.

This is what I get for missing exercise so many days in a row. But the motivation has been in the negatives... and now I'm also fighting the wet-sandbag drag of full-blown depression. I was seriously suicidal today for the first time in a long while. With this kind of weight on top of me and the awareness of my own failings, I just don't want to go on.

Oh, and I managed to finish a cover for HB. According to my editor there'll be another one on the FTP site tomorrow, which has to be finished... tomorrow. *headdesk repeatedly*

*HUGS* as for the other I'm ... feeling it right there with you... I'm sinking lower and lower and I don't know how to get out.
