Oh, and dark_puck, I picked up your gift from the post office today. Thank you so much! A three-book series, The Halfblood Chronicles, by Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton -- plus a lovely little dragon pendant that I'll have to take a photo of when I'm feeling a bit more energetic. Whee! Now I have reading material, which I was sorely lacking.

I'll probably be going to bed early tonight, so I'm looking forward to curling up and starting the first book. :-) What a pleasant surprise to arrive on such a generally shitty day.
