Up and working at 9 am, which for me is ungodly early, lol... coffee (with Oscar's Sugar Free Vanilla flavoring) is my bestest friend in the world right now.
The good news is, the Hardy Boys pages I've spent the last few days prepping are only taking about 30-45 minutes to finish up. This means I should have a goodly number of them done to send to the editor before I have to leave for the bellydancing class this evening (which I haven't practiced for... oh, well, c'est la vie).
Last night before I went to sleep I practiced some positive visualizations, imagining myself counting off 40 beads on a rosary to the tune of "I will sleep well and awake refreshed" and "I will begin my work eagerly". This is a very old technique, and I've found it generally effective. Perhaps later today, if I have time, I'll nip downtown and pick up a piece of yellow cord and make up an actual "witches ladder", which is our version of the rosary and is comprised of 7 to 40 knots.
Ah, "Brand New Girl" has just come up on the "Earth Girls are Easy" soundtrack... gotta love that Julie Brown!
