Sore, exhausted, and troubled. We were up at 7 am today, hauling bags and boxes of garbage down the three flights of back stairs in the bright cold of early morning in Manitoba before we'd even had coffee (which kicked up a mild asthma attack, which had been started by the dust we raised the previous evening). And the landlord (with a couple of guys who are thinking of buying the building in tow) didn't stop by until about 4 pm. Gnnnnrrrrrr.

DBT was hard today, but satisfying. I was able to report real progress in my use of the DBT skills.

Tomorrow I start taking Metformin. I also go in for my "back to work" interview at Ipsos-Reid, at 10 am. I hope they don't come down on me too hard. And that the nausea side-effect from the medication isn't horrendous, considering that I've been feeling ill on-and-off all day today.

More tomorrow.

Isn't that the way. You're all bright and early and they take their sweet time... *hugs* At least it's all done now :)

I took Metformin for a while last year. I found it didn't bother my stomach as much if I ate some dark green veggies each day. Brocolli, romain, green leaf lettuce, that sort of thing.

Hope everything went well at Ipsos-Reid. :)

I find eating metformin with a meal helps, though I figure the pharmacist planted that in the instructions already. I find that I can't get by with a small snack when I take the pills. it has to be overloaded with a lot of munchies and stuff. I also find it helps if I take the metformin first, then the rest of the pills I'm taking.

Weeee. Metformin is SUCH a joy.

*grins* Thanks for the advice. My doc gave me the "take with meals" advice, and so far I haven't had any problems with it.
