So. My GP thinks that I have:
1) An infection I picked up at the hospital (apparently they can take weeks to show up); and/or
2) Anemia due to losing a lot of blood during the procedure.
He had blood drawn to check my white and red cell counts, and I got a pretty purple Band-Aid out of it. Apparently the results will be in sometime between tomorrow and Monday. He sent me home with a presciption for an antibiotic that I'm to have filled in the event that there's an infection in play.
Well, now I feel a bit better about lying around like a slug for the last three weeks. I still came home and went straight down for a nap, though, and only got up about half an hour ago.
In other good news... I made meatloaf yesterday, and let me tell you, it's delicious cold.
In strange news...
Scotch tape produces X-rays. No, really. It does. Enough to take a shot of the bones inside a finger, which might make small and portable X-ray machines suddenly feasible.
No fic for the last few days. I'm barely creative enough to put HP Sauce on a meatloaf sandwich, much less navigate the minds of my characters. And NaNoWriMo is coming on like a freight train. Oh, lordy, I hope this all clears up soon enough that I'm in shape for that.
Off to do a bit of email, and then back to bed to read Harry Potter (great comfort reading, that).
