After I was finished exercising, at about 1:50, George coaxed me into going to Bread & Circuses, a local bakery and cafe, for lunch. It cost us $36 for the two of us, including a loaf of Balkan rye bread to take home, but it was worth every penny. I had a turkey sandwich and turkey curry soup with a side salad, and George had a ham and swiss with Brazilian bean soup. It's a well-lit friendly place with excellent food.
( Three pics behind the cut )After lunch we stopped at the Food Fare and picked up several things, including a pork loin roast for tomorrow's dinner -- but not the one item I really wanted, which was
a sugar free Red Bull. I've been feeling so exhausted and punky these last couple of days and wanted something to give me a bit of a lift. We also tried at
Sugar Mountain -- still no soap. Finally we stopped at 7-Eleven, which had it. The irony of the situation is that after all that effort, I'm actually feeling not too bad. Oh well. I intend to work late tonight, so perhaps it will come in handy then.
