I went to the Millennium Library this afternoon and wrote for three hours. This added about 2700 words to my novel.
Then I went to the Second Cup on Graham Avenue for the monthly Pagan Coffee Night. Only one other person showed up, but it was somone who's been trying to connect with me and the Full Moon Group for several months. We had a really nice time, and hopefully she can come out to the next Full Moon event.
Afterwards I stopped at the Italian grocery a block up Corydon and bought some bread, pastrami, and a treat -- gouda cheese. Really good stuff.
Then I walked home, a block and a half. It's getting bloody cold up here, or at least it sure feels frigid after the sun goes down.
George burned a bunch of episodes of The IT Crowd to a DVD. Now we can watch them on our TV. Yay!
Tomorrow I get to concentrate on MM. Not so yay.
A funny thing about the library... I set up my laptop in one of the study areas, and when a couple of people left a nearby table I saw that they'd left a lot of library books strewn across it. I got up and browsed through the books, and came up with three that looked interesting. When I got home, I showed them to George, and it turned out that one of them is an edition of a book that he used to own before he met me. Now, out of the hundreds of thousands of books in the library, what are the odds of THAT happening?
Spooky stuff.
