Chemo, moolah, and fires burning in space

Tomorrow morning is my mom's first bout of the new chemo regimen. I'll be going to spend the morning with her at the hospital, then going home with her for a few hours after that to make sure she's okay. This will be immensely stressful for both of us. I'm considering taking a tranquillizer tonight to get myself started on the right foot, so to speak.

I'll have to find time to do some grocery shopping tomorrow also. The cupboards, they are pretty much bare.

I'm into a stretch of particularly complex pages on MM, and only got 7 done today. Mind you, I didn't actually get up until 3 pm... total left to finish by Friday: 8.

And still no word from the HB editor about the cheque. Gahhhhhhhhhh. If I don't get it by Thursday, things are going to start going seriously pear-shaped around here.
