The last few days have, on the whole, been a lot better than the two weeks that preceded them -- except for today, when I slept until 6 pm (a grand total of 17 hours) and have been dragging myself around ever since. I suspect it's because I missed a dose of Cytomel yesterday.
But other than that... yeah, late last week went pretty well. The suicidal ideation faded as well as the soul-deep ache of depression. I actually had energy and the willpower to get things done.
On Thursday and Saturday I went out for a meal and shopping with
eibhleann13; it was great to see her, as usual, and we had a really good time. On Friday I went to see Curse of the Golden Flower with
chimera452, who also gave me a bottle of vitamin D pills to possibly help out with my mood. Yesterday I went to Brian's AD&D game, where my character ended up in quite a bit of hot water AND a cliffhanger that'll be resolved in two weeks. >.< He's got a good Intelligence stat, but I honestly doubt that I play him up to that standard.
My psychiatrist, who I saw on Friday, thinks that the muscle pain etc. I went through on my first round of Risperdal was probably the flu, and agrees that my severe depression in couple of weeks leading up to it might be connected to a viral infection. I'm seeing him again next Friday, sticking to my current dose of the medication, and we'll see if I've stabilized.
Oh, and I got my hair cut. There was much rejoicing.
