So far today, I have:

1) Had breakfast at 9 am.
2) Spilled a full cup of coffee on the living room carpet. Bugger. >.<
3) Made several phone calls to various restaurants, looking for the best one to take my mother to for Christmas Eve dinner. (This might be her last Christmas, so we want to make it as special an occasion as possible.)
4) Prepared .psd files and started flatting the next issue of MM.
5) Showered for the first time in a few days. (Yes, I'm in one of those periods of depression where even taking a shower seems like an overwhelming sensory ordeal.)
6) Put on laundry downstairs.
7) Got out of the apartment block, also for the first time in days.
8) Walked to the local 7/11 to get some money from the ATM.
9) While I was there, spotted the perfect gift for my MM editor -- a "Canada" scarf, warm and fleecy and black. Bought it.
10) On impulse, stopped at Cafe 22 a block or so further on to have lunch (personal-size pizza and Caesar salad)
11) Went to Radiance to see if I could find something to spend Terri's gift certificate on. Didn't succeed. Still mulling over the "which statue" question. (But I did see some potential gifts for other folks on my Giftmas shopping list.)
12) Shopped at Foodfare, picking up three heavy bags of groceries.
13) Walked back home, pausing on my way up to put the laundry in the dryer.

And that's it so far. I still have to pick up the laundry, clean up that stain on the carpet, do some more comics work -- haven't decided yet whether it will be on MM or HB -- and possibly exercise.

But I feel a real sense of accomplishment, which certainly helps the depression some.

14) Finished panel flats on the current issue of MM and started detailed true color.
15) Brought the dried laundry up. Folded and put it away.
15) Did 25 minutes of step exercise and a 5 minute cooldown and stretch.
16) Put on rice and M&M Meats honey garlic chicken breasts for supper. They already smell delicious. (M&M Meats is like the coolest shop on the planet, and you know I don't go all fangirl about stores very often. They've even got THE best food product EVER that doesn't involve chocolate: a stuffed turkey breast that's turkey, stuffing, and nothing else. *drools unashamedly*)
17) Went to wake up George, who's working the night shift, but he burrowed into the blankets and made noises that indicated he wanted another half an hour. Hence my killing time by writing this entry.

After supper, it's back to MM. Tomorrow I have to get up early again so I can do some more HB pages before taking a much-needed break to go play AD&D with my new gaming group. I feel bad about taking the time to game, but I'm honestly worn almost to the nub and the mental "reset" will do me a world of good before I plunge into next week's "sleep-what's sleep" schedule.

Almost Perfect- INFP

26% Extraversion, 53% Intuition, 40% Thinking, 26% Judging

So, you want to make the world a better place? Too bad it's never gonna happen.

Of all the types, you have to be one of the hardest to find fault in. You have a selfless and caring nature. You're a good listener and someone who wants to avoid conflict. You genuinely desire to do good.

Of course, these all add up to an incredibly overpowered conscience which makes you feel guilty and responsible when anything goes wrong. Of course, it MUST be your fault EVERYTIME.

Though you're constantly on a mission to find the truth, you have no use for hard facts and logic, which is a source of great confusion for those of us with brains. Despite this, in a losing argument, you're not above spouting off inaccurate fact after fact in an effort to protect your precious values.

You're most probably a perfectionist, which in this case, is a bad thing. Any group work is destined to fail because of your incredibly high standards.

Disregard what I said before. You're just easy to find fault in as everyone else!

Luckily, you're generally very hard on yourself, meaning I don't need to waste my precious time insulting you. Instead, just find all your own faults and insult yourself.
