Marvel wants me! YES!

Received yesterday, but just looked at today, an email from Marvel -- I've been offered a chance to work on Marvel Masterworks!

The rate is low, but the work isn't complicated (limited palette and pre-existing colored pages as guides) and there's a LOT of it.

Thanks to the kind folks of LiveJournal, free accounts can now have six userpics, so of course one of mine HAD to be of Smith. I'll probably end up using him for particularly snarky entries, much as I use the crow-in-pentacle symbol for religion-themed posts and Neo's "I need a hug" icon for sentimental ones and posts to mtx_deg_sep.

I just finished my 25 minutes of step training for the day -- not much fun with the sore throat, burning sinuses, and generally achy body I woke up with, but I do feel much more energized now than I did previous.

Also made some phone calls tonight regarding the Full Moon ritual on Saturday evening. So far, it looks like there'll be at least four of us, possibly six, and we'll be doing a warding of my apartment (long overdue, since I've been living here more than a year). I'm hoping to pawn off the main dish portion of the proceedings onto someone else, since I really don't feel like cooking anything complicated (cooking being my least favorite activity at the best of times).

Back to doing true-color flats on Hardy Boys.
