Taking things backwards...

Just finished my "morning" step training workout, 25 or so minutes long. Ouch. My muscles are starting to ache regularly, but my heart rate is up while I'm exercising and that's what counts. Took a couple of aspirin, so the pain should be reduced presently.

Had a wonderful dream last night where George and I were back in our old (hardwood-floored) apartment, and Micawber was there too. We petted him and played with him until the time came when we each had to go back to our own worlds, and as we said goodbye his contented, well-loved face positively beamed at us. *sighs happily*

I was feeling fairly upset last night before going to bed, so I took a full Seroquel tablet -- my first ever whole one -- and felt no particular mental effects; however, when I tried to get up to go out to the kitchen at one point I found it very difficult to move and kept bumping into things.

Four meetings yesterday: One with my psych nurse (periodic check-in), the DBT session, a New Moon Yule ritual rehearsal, and a get-together of the Circle of Artemis members to plan their own Yule ritual. The New Moon event is coming up this Saturday and the CoA event on December 21st. By the time I dragged myself out of the last meeting I was absolutely beat.

On the way home from DBT, stopped at the local PharmaPlus and picked up food to PMS by -- chocolate and store-brand Pringles. At this time of the month I need such little comforts.

Rrmmm, what else? Time to get down to work on Hardy Boys, I suppose.

Two pages of Hardy Boys done, two more well on the way to being done, and that's all, folks. I've spent the last two hours lying on the couch feeling like a wrung-out dishrag soaked in shittiness.

Fucking hormones.

I'm going to bed early tonight: tomorrow morning, George and I have to go see our insurance agent about George's policy, which is my favorite thing in the WHOLE world next to dental surgery. And I've blown my carbs due to a savage craving for bread. AND I just realized that I've been counting my pulse wrong during my workouts (yeah, how stupid do you have to be to get THAT wrong...), though I think I'm still at least close to the target zone.

*stumps off to bed, maybe with a tranquillizer to keep me company*
