A lot has happened over the last several days.
1) It looks like the current dosage of antidepressants has stopped working. I've had a few days where I was afraid to make phone calls, answer IMs on the net, or leave the house. I'll be seeing Dr. S on the 20th, so hopefully something can be worked out.
2) This Wednesday I'll be seeing a new GP for the first time, Dr. E; my own doctor, Dr. T, looks like he's on his last legs, so this is a pre-emptive strike at finding a new permanent doctor. I've been told to fast for 12 hours before the appointment, which makes me a bit leery... *envisioning many MANY little vials of blood being taken for various tests...*
3) I've found a whole whack o' great new internet sites, including the Godawful Fan Fiction forums (all BAD fan fiction, all the time!), The First Church of Smith and Neo (Neo/Smith slash fan fiction from "The Matrix" universe, yummy yummy, with a terrific front page), and Beautiful Nemesis (their motto: "Animosity is an Aphrodesiac). Godawful Fan Fiction in particular is good for several wasted hours! Look for me under my LJ name and icon...
4) I've also found a couple of pieces of fan fiction that, to use a "Warriors of Plasm" term, "tweak my nodes":
Canon, a Neo/Smith slashfic in stream-of-consciousness mode. I get the feeling the English isn't the first language of the writers, but still... whew! Hot-cha! Hot stuff, comin' through!
Part of the Maddening Crowd, Neo/multiSmiths, set during the Burly Brawl sequence in "Matrix: Reloaded"... lighter than "Canon", but still strangely satisfying.
Well, off to some AI RP PHUN! Tonight, hopefully, we get into the lower levels of the Area 51 complex and rescue Cecie. If not, Joe might have to break something...
