In reverse order. First, stolen from [livejournal.com profile] avari_elf's LJ...

My personal favorite: the cat, the slippery counter, and the toaster. Thud! SMASH! OUCHIE! ;-)

Went out for lunch this afternoon with a friend we very seldom see, on a cross-town trek that took about an hour each way. Nevertheless, we got home in good time for [livejournal.com profile] morgaine_inanna to drop off our cat carrier (THANK YOU! :-)) and will give it a good spray-down so it'll be ready to transport Emmie to the vet tomorrow at 2 pm. Before that, at 11 am, I'm meeting my friend Corey for lunch in the neighborhood, and must then stop at Radiance to see if I can find a little cauldron for Terri. And that (aside from work, which includes some scintillating choices like laying flats, doing color holds, or laying in word balloons and lettering) will finish up my obligations for Friday.

Saturday will be busy: pick up various incenses from Glen Hoban at 2 pm, get picked up from his place by Terri to go out for coffee, come home in time to get a 4: 30 long-distance call from [livejournal.com profile] he_dreams_awake, then out to dinner at a local pizzaria with Jeff's gaming gang followed by the weekly AD&D game at Jeff's place.

And then Sunday... ah, Sunday. Get out of the house to do some shopping around noon (including picking up a couple of roasted chickens at Safeway) followed by folks coming over at 2 pm for an Imbolc ritual. Not sure what time we'll be wrapping it up, but I figure I'm tied up until at least 6 pm with it. Then -- yep, more comic work.

News from George's colleague who's trying to set up the comics course: apparently things aren't as definite as he thought they were. And that's all the information we have right now >.< Exactly what this means will hopefully become clear in a phone call sometime this week.

*looks down at uterus, gives it a good hard "thump"*

Come on, baby. I thought for sure you were going to let loose after the cat carrier was dropped off, when I felt so exhausted I had to lay down and have a two-hour nap. But apparently you were just teasing me.

You sound very occupied LOL.

If you ever get the chance to watch Showcase catch a show called Dead Like Me. It is like the coolest show on TV, that alas, had only 2 seasons... *frustrated*

Love ya :D

Oh and bum first for Emmie into the carrier if you can, makes it less difficult to get the cone through. *hugs*
