Okay... in the home stretch with this issue of Hardy Boys. The impulse to self-sabotage is there, whispering seductively, but I think I'll be able to overcome it; the step exercise helps with that a bit, since it leaves me energized in a good way. I'm not happy at the prospect of the post-work crash that will probably follow, but... *shrug* I'll have to fight my way out of it fast, because the insurance company needs a decision on our life insurance (which I haven't really looked at yet) and Kathy's wiccanning ceremony (which I'm High Priestessing) is this coming Saturday. No rest for the wicked. Heh.
A series of letters from my editor this morning confirmed that yes, I'm still the golden boy in the offices. I think I'll start off on that page 30 fiasco (hopefully there isn't TOO much patch-up to be done on it), then wrap up the rest of the book afterwards.
ETA: Just got an email from the editor saying "Oh, btw, we forgot the cover needs to be colored -- can you do it too?" *beats head against wall repeatedly*
I'm just downloading it now, will take a look at it, and make a decision.
ETA 2: Huzzah! It's a cover I received before, laid flats on, and was told NOT to do because "someone else was doing it". Good thing I kept the flats -- that cuts the processing time in half.
