I intended to start my step exercises today, but between the alarm not going off and George losing track of time so it didn't occur to him that I should really be up, I barely got up in time to be picked up by Terri. *yawn* Time for just one cup of coffee...

We went to Denny's Meats (where I picked up some stewing beef, hamburger patties, and ham) and then went to Wilton's for breakfast, after which we picked up Terri's husband Roger and checked out the new diabetic food store in town. WOW! I walked out of there with $90 worth of groceries, all of it in the "junk food" catagory; they had some pretty amazing stuff, including flavored syrups for coffee, dessert toppings, low-carb cookies, and of course specialty chocolates.

Then off to Computer Boulevard, where I picked up the right kind of ethernet cable (since I grabbed the wrong kind last night). Their prices are simply out of this world.

Terri and Roger dropped me off home about 4 pm, totally shopped out. I've spent the last few hours putting together a CD of documents/pictures/audio/movies for Lee, since we'll be delivering her iMac tomorrow afternoon. I'd forgotten just how much cool stuff I actually have socked away on backup discs.

Oh, and it turned out the screen problem I noticed last night (and which persists today) is completely George's fault: he saw something on the screen and scrubbed SO hard with a piece of tissue that he took off part of the anti-glare coating. Yaggggh! How utterly annoying! I can work with it, but I'm seriously considering just going all the way and scrubbing off ALL the anti-glare coating, so at least the monitor looks uniform.

The pork tenderloin I picked up yesterday is in the oven, with rosemary. Yummmm!
