Roasts and renewed hope

The roast, she is on. I bought it on Wednesday, and it looks a bit dried-out on top, but hopefully it's still good.

I also meant to mention that today, for the first time in a long time, I actually looked FORWARD to doing things -- simple things like just going downtown, shopping a bit, maybe trying a new recipe. I can't tell you how good that feels.

::Cheers for you:: I know that feeling all too well, having to drag yourself through even ordinary tasks. I try to keep a little something on my calender, a few days (or a few hours) away, to give myself a little goal to work towards, or a little treat to reward myself for keeping my head up.
