It's been a tranquillizer kind of day. One highlight: George sat beside me on the couch to eat one of the Halloween cupcakes sent home to him from Holly's group last night, and when he was finished, he looked down to discover big smears of orange icing on his black jeans. His exact quote: "Oh, fuck! Holy shit! What am I, FIVE?!?"

It gave me the one laugh I've had all day. Gods bless George...

Also, found a possible job lead to chase down -- Marvel is looking for colorists/art restorers on their Marvel Masterworks series. I sent an email off to the editor with portfolio links, so we'll see what shakes out. I KNOW I'm qualified to do the work, and I think I'd really enjoy it.

Just finished eating dinner: another sirloin tip roast (they were on sale at Food Fare) with rosemary sprinkled over it, and carrots and potatoes roasted in the same pan. Mmmmmmm. Well, at least I've been well fed today.

Apparently the secondary story on Boston Legal tonight deals with Wicca -- and according to George, who caught it earlier, they actually pronounced "Samhain" correctly. Shocking! I'm going to catch it on Timeshift in about 45 minutes, see how good/bad it actually is.

I don't know why I'm so low, so suddenly. Perhaps it has something to do with Dr. S's prognosis about future medication adjustments not being a good thing to hang my hopes on. Or, it could just be the nature of the beast.

Feh. Can't decide whether to stay online/go into chat or curl up on the couch and read some more of Essential Wicca. Damned depressive indecisiveness. :-P

Just to let you (and the whole world!) know, what a fine Samhain ritual you organized on Monday night for my class. Lyrical, effective, and lovely to look at (plus the excitement of flash-paper, oooooo!)

Being in a deep mood downswing didn't hamper your ability to do ritual and keep the rest of us on track. Very professional and competent, and I thank you again.

You're more than welcome. It was an honor to be invited into your home and to help out with your class. And thanks for the words of encouragement. :-)

BTW, did you ever get a clear explanation from those who did NOT show up regarding their absence?

I saw these on ebay and they reminded me of your icon - earrings (http://cgi.ebay.com/Silver-RAVEN-PENTACLE-EARRINGS-Wicca-Jewelry-Shaman_W0QQitemZ5629595438QQcategoryZ1523QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) - in fact they're startlingly like your icon!

Those are amazing earrings! Thanks for the link -- it sent me on an eBay search which led me to buy a pair of similar earrings. :-)
