Only seven pages of Hardy Boys flats done -- and not even true-color flats, at that. And I'm at the point where the thought of trying to do another sets every nerve in my body screaming in panic.
It's times like this that jumping out of the blue and into the black seems even more appealing, because then all this would be over and I'd never have to face another page again. I still haven't screwed up the courage to look at the editor's schedule on the book, as much as I know that putting it off probably only stands to hurt me in the long run.
So -- a tranquillizer, I think, and then bed. At least I can hide from the pages for a few hours...
