Took my first full Ritalin tablet this morning. 0_o Ye Gods! Half an hour later, the rush of energy through my body was palpable. I went from being half-asleep and headachy, sucking back coffee and dreading the task of packing up a couple of monitors and moving the air conditioner, to "Come on, let's get to it!" Amazing stuff. And I get another half tablet in four hours...

I'm not sure whether I should like this or not.

That's why I can't *why* they give the stuff to hyperactive kids. Theoretically, wouldn't it make them more unbearable??

it's supposed to do the opposite if you are hyperactive.
I know some kids it works for.
like any med, it can do the trick or be horrid depending on your needs and the doc you have.
