Another page of Girl Genius done, though. That takes me up to... this coming Wednesday. The next page should go fairly quickly, so I might actually be caught up to one week ahead of the web publishing date. *er, sweatdrop?*
Guess what that package at the post office was?

Yes, ANOTHER one. I now have two. Apparently the original order (the one they lost) also went through... so, they sent me the same statue twice.
I'm assuming they don't realize what they've done. What to do? I can't keep it, obviously -- I haven't paid for it. Shipping it back would cost me $20 US on top of the $11 CAN I paid just to get it from the post office (thank you, customs). Sell it and send them the money? That might work. Aislingfae, if the Shrine of Diana wants it, the statue's price is listed as $47 US on the customs form, and if they also want the $20 back...
I repeat:

I would say it's obvious that eBay (that's who it was, right?) has written it off already and wouldn't know what to do with it if you sent it back.
Why don't you donate it to the Shrine of Diana (as an um ... offering/gift, or something), take the money that you would've spent sending it back, and donate that to a good charity? Or the RSPCA. Or ... whatever.

Well, I must awfully honest, because I phoned them, we agreed I would repost the stupid things back to them with the ticket showing the cost of the stuff, and they reimbursed me.

As nice as it would be to have this as a donation, I think Crowdog is right to be honest. I would email the seller and inform them that you recieved the package twice, and as you haven't paid for it, what should you do?
I just might be interested in buying this beauty from you Crowdog..email me off LJ.

And for my 2 cents, my sense of karma and conscience also support emailing the seller. I once went back to a store where I was under-charged for something. The look of surprise on the clerk's face that I actually came back was well worth the trip.
