he_dreams_awake has created a computer game, and is offering it for free download.

Ripping apart the fabric of reality, exploding the very way you think, blowing apart your perceptions of the world around you... and cool music:

Gnosis is a puzzle/text adventure/simulation/cross-genre game designed for a specific purpose: discovering what that purpose is is the entire point. It takes you through some very real-world situations, in which fast thinking is helpful but not always the secret, and into some situations that can only be described as hyperreal. From cyberspace to traditional puzzles to casting off what you know of reality, Gnosis -- hopefully -- will stretch your perceptions. And the end result will surprise you.

I, alas, am on a Mac and cannot play it. However, I hope everyone else will play it enough to make up for that. :-D
