"They bravely, bravely turned and fled!"

Guess who didn't show up to protest Tim McLean's funeral?

A couple of days ago, Shirley Phelps said: "The last thing I am worried about are some brutes Canada. We will know what to do when the hour comes."

*laughs* Yeah, run away with your tails between your legs. As I said before: Fucking candy-assed cowards.

I guess the prospect of being arrested for sneaking into the country didn't appeal to them -- nor, perhaps, the possibility of some good ol' Canadian boys shoving hockey sticks so far up their rectums that they'd be shitting black tape for a week.

In one way, this is a relief. In another way, it's a disappointment, because seeing them seized and conducted to a jail cell would have been most satisfying. (Mind you, that may yet happen if the RCMP finds them. I don't think sneaking into a country that expressly told you to stay out was exactly the smartest thing to do.)

I'm just thankful the family got to lay that poor boy to rest without any foolishness from Phelps and his band of miscreants.

I guess that her smug assertions about "God looking after them" aren't *really* all that supported. And here she was talking about how a few hundred people weren't nearly enough opposition. All I can say is, if they're that scared of Canadian authorities and jail cells, I can think of a couple of other places to send them to, that might just knock the idea that God hates everyone but them right out of their entitled little minds.

I would have liked to see them jailed too but its for the best that they didnt go, for the family's sakes anyways.
