This happened a couple of days ago. Mina (the grey one) was lying on the couch when Emmie came along, jumped up, and lay down in front of her. All without so much as a growl.
Later that same day, George heard them chasing each other around the apartment (the "thumpthumpthumpTHUNDthumpthumpthump" of little cat feet), and looked up to find Mina lying on her back, spreadeagled, with Emmie's face buried in her stomach.
Looks like they're working things out and getting more comfortable with each other.

It's good to hear the two of them are becoming more friendly towards eachother. Countess and Gerta will have daily spatz where Gerta growls and Runs as Countess attempts to be friendly. A real screaming/killing argument doesn't happen often.
Heehee. Oooh, I can't wait to hear more on this subject!
