Jeff's AD&D game didn't pan out. So, to go to the New Moon ritual tonight or not? I'm trying to use the Wise Mind skill from DBT to help me decide, since I'm having a hard time sorting out my feelings on the matter. It looks like I will go after all, on the grounds that in the past doing so has helped me feel better, whereas staying at home would probably just perpetuate the low mood I'm in currently. The down side: I'd have to run out and pick up something for the potluck supper afterwards, and I just don't feel that energized at the moment.
Spent part of last night and today watching the commentary features on The Matrix DVDs. One commentary stream is by a pair of philosophers, the other by a trio of film critics. So far I've only viewed individual scenes, but the philosophy commentary in particular is really meaty stuff. I'll have to put aside some time to actually watch them all the way through. It's great to hear my own opinions on the Neo/Smith interrelationship backed up by people with (other) college degrees, lol...
