Interspecies friendships can be SO cute.

The I'm-six-years-old-on-a-sugar-high voice of the narrator just makes it a more interesting viewing experience. I'm particularly fond of the last section, which can be summed up as follows:

CAT: "Look at me! I'm fully grown, but if I try really hard I can STILL fit under this rooster's wing!"
ROOSTER: "... Cluck?"

In less adorable news -- ah, Hardy Boys. The last pages of the sixth graphic novel are in, and using the DBT skills I've learned I was able to negotiate a deadline with the editor (next Thursday) that I can live with. The job will probably be in a bit later than that (over the weekend of April 1st), but considering that the penciller/inker on the job was running WEEKS over deadline, I think the editor will forgive me a couple of days of lag-time.

I haven't done any step exercise these last couple of days -- too busy and preoccupied to carve the time free -- but I'll try to do it today. The burst of energy that follows it is worth the 30 minutes, plus my body is actually starting to crave it.

Oh, and V for Vendetta? I saw it last Friday. Totally awesome. Hugo Weaving is just bloody amazing. And Natalie Portman is so very easy on the eyes.

ETA: Just got an email from my Marvel editor offering me a 51 page recolor job on two issues of Jack Kirby's The Eternals (#19 and the Annual), due by April 21st. I accepted it. Wahoo! More work!
