Today ended up being not a Hardy Boys flats day, but a Joe in the Future rendering day. Blech. My brain isn't very lively right now, and rendering requires quite a bit of creativity -- I'd much rather have flatted. Still, the page turned out looking not too shabby, and George (who is the primary colorist on that project) will go back in later and give it a bit more sparkle. At the moment he's busy inking Albion for DC Comics, hence me being called in to pitch-hit on Joe. (And hey, he helped me out on the Marvel Masterworks deadline, so I definitely owe him one.)
Looking down: damn, my thighs are getting thin! Finally! And George says he can definitely see more curves in the waist area, and can feel how much stronger my legs are these days. Go me!
Got an adorable "portrait shot" of Emmie lying contentedly in my arms this evening. She's very cute, and who knows how much longer we might have her?
Just had some soup and am feeling a little sleepy, so I'll probably make an early night of it and get up early tomorrow.
