Good news: We found George's wallet! It was on top of one of the computers. Huzzah, hurray, and other exclamations of relief and joy!
Bad news: My invoice for the fifth Hardy Boys graphic novel got misplaced at NBM. They've only just now rediscovered it. No wonder the bloody cheque kept being later and later and later... and the rent is due tomorrow.
Good news: They caught the problem, have apologized profusely, and are going to FedEx it to me tomorrow. This means we will only be a couple of days late with the rent. *whew*
Bad news: My period has started. Cramping and nausea and other nastiness.
Good news: My period has started. Consequently, some of the horrible mood I've been laboring under this past week should evaporate.
Bad news: I might have to rework the schedule on the AI RP session I have planned for the second week in March, because...
Good news: George might have an 8-to-4 job. He went for the interview today, and he liked them and they liked him, so they'll interview a couple of other people and let him know by the end of the week (they say, and we hope).
The practical upshot of this, which is what might force the reschedule, is that George will then have only the evenings and weekends free to do his freelance work. I am HOPING that the 6500 will be able to handle multi-person chat, which would mean I can use it whenever I like while George uses the G4, but the G4 has all the AI RP chat logs on it, so... it's a headache.
And more good news: The last of the Marvel Masterworks corrections have FINALLY come in. I have to talk to my editor about when my cheque will go out, but that will be another $1040 US when it comes through.
