Steve's funeral was full of both laughter and tears. I figure about sixty people showed up, but I've never been very good at guesstimating those sorts of things. It was strange to see so many people from the local Pagan community, and to feel tremendously connected to some and tremendously distanced from others. I left feeling somewhat depressed.

Holly, who was officiating, did an excellent job. And Glen seemed to be holding together fairly well, although of course the real test of that will be in the next few weeks.

After the funeral George and I went to Stephanchew's Church Goods so I could pick up some more altar candles, and then to Red River Books, where I found a copy of Covencraft: Witchcraft for Three or More by Amber K. I'd heard good things about that particular book, and there it was for only $12. It might prove useful for the Full Moon Group inner court work we'll be doing over the next year, so I grabbed it and will start reading it tonight.

Then on to Soup, Sandwiches and More, where we had lunch before doing some shopping for office supplies. By the time we got on the bus to go home I was a little less depressed but very tired. I was invited to a baby shower tonight but almost certainly won't go -- for one thing I'm "peopled out", for another thing I have HB I should be working on, and for a third thing my sinuses are still not happy, and I don't want to take an infection into the same room as a baby. Perhaps I can get together with some of the people involved for coffee at a later date.
