Hardy Boys is finally over. Girl Genius is just beginning. *headdesk* Does it ever end? (Hint: No.)
Today I met my mother for lunch after her doctor's appointment, then Terri for coffee (FINALLY! plus the added pleasure of two other Pagans showing up unexpectedly). I didn't get the gold-framed John Lennon glasses on eBay, but there's another set coming up in 6 days time that I'm bidding on. I picked up some ritual planning supplies at Red River Community College's downtown campus (discovering in the process that they have FREE public internet access), then went for a walk down to Munsen Park with Eastpath to scout a location for the Full Moon Ritual I'm heading on April 23rd. (A Winnipeg park in the spring is both full of snow AND soaking wet underneath... my feet and pant-cuffs were sopping by the time we were done navigating the icy paths and wading into the fields... we did, however, find a lovely open place mostly secluded from the street where the full moon will shine down most beautifully.)
Update on the cat Northlight, kbob, and I found on Friday -- her name is Carter, and her owner still hasn't returned calls from Corey and the Winnipeg Humane Society (who spayed her and put the tattoo in her ear back in 2002). We figure the owner might be on vacation, and perhaps the cat got out while someone was supposed to be caring for it. If not... well, Corey is more than willing to keep the little darling, and rename her Easter. ^_^
*sigh* Off to search the Mountain of Boxes for my Wiccan paperwork/chants/ritual notebook...
