Hot town, summer in the city

Today it is 31 degrees Celcius. Make that 45 degrees with the humidex. *pets the air conditioner, even if it is piddling all over the floor*

Sent the last payment to the Scanner-Guy-Who-Is-Connected-With-Top-Cow. It should be mailed Monday.

Cut last night, and cried myself to sleep for the first time in a very long time. I feel like crap today as a result, and could barely drag myself out of bed. I did, however, pick up what I hope is a nice gift for a friend's initiation ritual tomorrow.

Even in the midst of misery, life goes on.

Now, off to paint more Hardy Boys. I'm starting the day way late, but better late than never, maybe.

*hugs* Have you been to see a doctor yet? Even if your regular one is out of town, surely any GP would be able to help you out. Hang in there.

My own doctor comes back next Monday (and I have an appointment with him that day)... I'm holding it together, but since my current GP is halfway across the city and hard to get ahold of, if things get really bad I'll head for the nearest hospital's Emergency ward. There are also two mobile crisis units in Winnipeg which can come and see me at home if need be, assess my condition, and have me admitted to a "safe house" if they deem it necessary.
