Yes, the Bucky icon heralds more sunshine and joy from my corner of the vast universe. Blech.
Things I Hate Right Now:
1. This shoebox of an apartment. I hate not having room to shift something without having to shift something else. I hate the wall-to-wall carpetting. I hate the layout. I hate the mess it's currently in. (Though I did clean it up a bit this afternoon before starting work... points for me.) I hate the fact that I can't find any of my books because most of them are still packed.
2. Having my period. And bleeding so badly that I literally need to wear Depends or risk a catastrophic overflow.
3. Taking so many fucking pills just to stay saner than I would otherwise be.
4. Hardy Boys. And I have at least 8 pages a day of it to look forward to for the foreseeable future. Speaking of work...
5. The current scheduling train-wreck: NBM wants Hardy Boys pages, and Chris Chuckry needs Star Wars flats starting early next week. *scream!*
6. Klik luncheon meat. Even though I'm eating a sandwich full of it right now.
7. That I can't seem to sleep properly or restfully anymore. I have a hard time getting to sleep, then find it impossible to get up when the alarm goes off.
8. That there seems to be nothing to get up for. Nothing that I see, do, or read seems to give me much pleasure these days.
9. That I can't quite bring myself to end it all. If I could, things would be a lot simpler -- for me, anyway. How painful can dying from hypovolemic shock be? (There are some associated chest pains and nausea, but otherwise? Not bad, when compared to some other methods.)
10. How hot it currently is. The studio is a lot cooler thanks to the air conditioner, but once you step out that door...
11. That I'm falling off the diabetic diet wagon, and struggling to get back on again (without much willpower behind it).
*sigh* On a positive note... got word from the guy selling us the scanner. Emails got lost and crossed, and he'll be ready to ship it out on Monday. Turns out he's going to the San Diego Comicon next weekend, and that the scanner we're buying used to belong to Top Cow, the comic company. The world is way too small.

I could offer platitudes and everything, but I don't get the feeling they'd help very much. Just know that there are people out there who don't know you, but who care about how you're getting on, and hope that there is a light at the end of that tunnel you're in right now.

Whatever happened with the DVD entertainment system you won at the Ex, BTW? Hopefully that turned out well!
