According to an article in the Winnipeg Sun, there were about 2,500 people at yesterday's Gay Pride rally. Wahoo!
And this is the Shrine of Diana group, marching with our Queer Pagan Pride banner. That's me in the foreground in the pentacle t-shirt. Not my best photo ever by a long shot, but hey, I gotta be me. ;-)

The banner got three actual loud outbursts of cheering from various spectators along the parade route, including one woman who shouted: "Up with Paganism!" The funniest overheard comment had to be one fellow who, upon reading the banner, remarked: 'There are queer Pagans?" (Someone else overheard this, not me personally... aislingfae, please correct me if I got it wrong. ^_^)
