*bows head*
Tired out... but I got three pages of true-color flats laid today, which was more than I expected to be able to do. Still so depressed that even the thought of as simple a thing as making soup is enough to reduce me to a quivering state of near-tears.
Still no response from Kaja re: The Scarlet Letter. I'm starting to get seriously worried. I have to send her an invoice for pages 11-20 of Girl Genius, so I'll ask her if she's had a chance to read it at that time. I'm beginning to come to terms with the idea that I might have to give up this job to spare my sanity, if they want me to launch right into new pages after this 30-page block is done.
That, and Puck's internet time has just been curtailed. Blast it. >.< Matrix: DegSep RP sessions might now actually *gasp* have to be scheduled.
*goes and finds a quiet place to lie down for a while...*

Soup. Yum. **Sighs and stares at her 4 loaves of bread** . I wonder if bread and soup go together....

(Anonymous) 2005-05-30 04:41 am (UTC)(link)If it helps, I have successfully completed my quest for a good sugarless replacement for dark chocolate, suitable for diabetics.
Alas, most so-called replacements are considered "chocolaty" simply they're brown and sweet, but otherwise taste nothing like chocolate. Examples: McDonalds chocolate shakes, and cheap chocolate ice cream. My early research showed that most diabetic replacements are not even sweet - they're simply "brown".
Sorbee dark chocolate, sold at Shoppers Drug Mart, tastes like the real thing. And it's not expensive either.

Today President Bush met with Palestinian President Abbas. There was one embarrassing moment when he said to Abbas "I loved your song Dancing Queen.”
