Okay, I could kill George a little less

Had a talk with George, who got up around 5 pm. Turns out the stew was on the counter from 10 AM to 3 pm, not 10 pm to 3 pm. I'm still pretty sure I'm not willing to eat it, but George is going to have a go of it. :-/

Emmie came up to sit with us while we were reading the paper on the couch, and I took the opportunity to take off the Elizabethan collar for about 15 minutes. Such grooming and scratching as you never did see! Poor little girl... I was sorry to have to put the collar back on her again, but we can't trust her not to lick/bite at the staples in her butt.

Time to do step exercise, then do flats on those European graphic novel samples.

Hi Laurie!

"Hi, Laurie," Tara Kingsmill squeaked, and paused briefly to wave across the months and miles. She then quickly scurried away to parts unknown.

TARA!!!!

*massive hugs*

How are you? What have you been doing? How did you find me again? :-D (And I'm really glad you did!)

five hours? No sweat.

In a commercial kitchen, I'd want the stew refrigerated as much as possible (or alternatively kept hot)

In the humble home kitchen, five hours is NOTHING for a beef stew IMHO. Heat it up hot hot and give it a try. I've eaten any amount of my own cooking left out overnight, (stews and spaghetti sauce and suchlike) and haven't succumbed yet. YMMV, but not much, I'll warrant.

**Pokes the Stew to see if it moves. When it doesn't, the Insane Bird Herder takes a hearty spoonful, likes it and attacks the bowl**.

As pointed out above ---> I've eaten some rather... questionable things (left out for a few hours..) and haven't come down ill. With the exception of Linda's stuff, but we all know how that goes :-P

What the hell is it with me mentioning Linda today? Frik.... **kicks self**
