Hi diddledy-dee, a taxes life for me...

And lo, there was tax paperwork.

And Laurie did go >.<

And the tax paperwork sat there, being all tax-y.

And Laurie did finally say, "To hell with it, I'm making a pot of coffee and whipping this into submission."

And coffee was drunk, and paper shuffled. And it was good. Sort of.

(No wonder people pay accountants incredible sums of money to take those disorganized piles of paper and make them go AWAY... or at least become something that one can easily work with.)

John and I have a tax accountant who does all tax stuff once a year. He's very good at finding tax breaks, and has gotten us a return every year that we've used him, even when we thought for sure that we were going to owe. He even comes to our house with his laptop, so that we don't have to schlep all our paperwork to him. And his fee is very reasonable. If you like, I can send you his name and number. For further endorsement, you can ask 7 league boots. She's the one who recommended him to us.
