You're correct -- we're located in central Canada, in the province of Manitoba.
And the big brightly-lit pointy structure is indeed the Provencher Bridge, one of Winnipeg's most recent civic works projects and absolutely gorgeous, IMHO.

As a city of over 750,000 people, Winnipeg has MANY gazeboes. ;-)
